A very good piece in @wsj on the economics of immigration: reducing legal pathways for immigrants in the U.S. and mass deportation are bad for the economy, disincentivize integration and leads to more crime by removing legal ways to make a living.

I found this funny. credit threeboy.com/

A comic strip titled "TrueNuff Heck Support"

Jay is IT person and when looking at the coworker monitor, he yells "NO," when asked, "JAY, CAN I INSTALL ...?"

Jay walks away from a female coworker who says, "I THINK MY COMPUTER NEEDS ....," to which he replies, "IT DOESN'T."

Another coworker shouts, "HEY! WHY'S MY COMPUTER BROKEN AGAIN?" Jay yells back, "BECAUSE YOU DOWNLOAD DUMB SHIT."

Later, Jay is relaxing on a couch playing video games. Another person asks him, "HOW WAS WORK?" Jay, holding a bottle, smiles and replies, "AWESOME."

So I'm officially 8 months jobless as of today.

Looking for a senior database architect/engineer role with pipeline/interface experience, if you know anyone looking. I'm a generalist hunting in a specialized world.

Alternately, I can edit your TTRPG manuscript or crowdfunding page for a nominal fee.

        Thanks in advance!
