              They filled the junior vacancy, but still need a senior mechanic and a manager.

              Interestingly they claim to be a employer - I couldn't find the company on the current accredited list of employers but its the first time I've seen a relatively small company in the automotive field even mention something as "woke" as this!

              Salaries do seem reasonable for the jobs (especially up North)

                Does anybody else feel like LLMs completely destroyed not only the job market, but the job hunting process itself? I apply to dozens of jobs and it's like I just don't exist. Nobody even notices me jumping in the back yelling, "Ooh, me! Pick me!" because of the throng of LLMs auto-applying and the other throng of LLMs doing the actual candidate selection. The game has changed. IDK how to play it anymore, and I'm literally going hungry as a result.

                  Interestingly the company I got my remap from still have vacancies on their websites for two in - I'm surprised these are still available as surely thats a dream for anyone into and the salary seems decent as well (as much as mechanics get down South). There's both junior and senior positions (although the junior one requires 2 years of experience)

                  Maybe the kind of folk who would be interested don't read the website closely enough..

                    Is the AI hit to entry-level jobs real or just a blip? A live payroll dashboard from Stanford and ADP now tracks it across 4.6 million workers, and the answer holds up. The aggregate looks flat, but workers aged 22 to 25 in the most AI-exposed jobs are shrinking 3.8% a year while older cohorts grow.
