                      in all the and shenanigans since 2021, there has been one tool that has played a massive role in making it both possible, and fun.

                      This utility trailer is the best car-thing I have ever bought!

                      Is the Kona EV rated for towing. No.

                      Did putting a trailer hitch on void the warranty? Not officially 😝 and its well past now.

                      This thing has been so damn handy! From cross country camping trips to hauling 400kg of rocks, it's done it all!

                        well that was one of the best $112 I have ever spent for 3 hours of labour! Got it back just under the 4 hour-wire!

                        The backyard is a bit of a disaster again!

                        But it's all part of the process.

                        If I can get ahold of an electrician and plumber reasonably soon then the trench will disappear fast.

                        I will need to hand dig some parts that were too tight for the trencher, and make sure the whole thing is down 18" minimum but I'd say that thing just saved me 15 solid hours of digging!

                                Just had an unpleasant road encounter with an angry male driver and laughing female companion. They were driving a large black 4dr truck towing a boat and carrying various other water things on the roof.

                                I was stopped at a light, windows open, in the right lane, driving my Kona EV. They pull up beside me and the lady looks down at me and smirks. I hear “powersucker!”

                                The light turns green and he guns it, attempting to drown me in his black smoke. So I accelerate away from him.

                                No way I was going to let him try to cut me off with his boat and both of us end up piled into a telephone pole.

                                After leaving him far behind, I turn left a kilometre up the road, and as I make my turn, he passes me on the right, pedal to the metal again, deafening roar.

                                Some people are deeply troubled, especially when they get behind the wheel. Our society is so broken right now and so much of it revolves around cars, trucks, oil and ignorance.

                                  Trying to work out exactly what happened here - I suspect Ed got busted because he (or his personal assistant(s)?) simply forgot to SORN [1] the *as soon as* it went in the garage for the conversion (not some years later) so continuous requirement kicked in (even though the vehicle was in bits in a workshop, DVLA won't know that if its not SORN) - a warning to anyone who is having long term restoration work done on their project !

                                  I've had to take out temporary insurance myself for a car that was being assessed after a collision (on advice of insurers themselves, it was from different company so not even any gain to them)
