We setup Tailscale at work, and so now I have two tailnets I need to switch between fairly often. Which has me opening up a terminal more than I'd like ("tailscale switch --list", "tailscale switch").

What I'd like is an indicator that works on Ubuntu that allows me to toggle between them in a menu. I can't seem to find such a thing. But it seems too obvious not to exist. (Tailscale seems to include this in their client for OSX)

If you are going to use a VPS to self host your applications and/or your websites, I highly recommend the following stack:

Cloudflare + Nginx Proxy Manager + GoAccess.

In less than 3 hours you have everything ready.

        Ok, team assemble!!

With lots of help, I've had great success customizing the installer to install after the base install.

However, the FINAL part is wanting to install a few at the same time.

The flathub remote adds fine, but the flatpaks won't install because there is no dbus service in this chroot (nixos_enter) environment.

Please tell me there is a way around this?!?! Id rather have it done here instead of trying to wire something on first boot.

NixOS install screen with a terminal with a chroot entered.

Error installing flatpak that reads

error: Failed to install com.google.Chrome: Unable to connect to system bus

The github repository has details as well as links to the exhaustive documentation.

It is my hope that at least another person finds it useful

The UI is then launched, showing a dashboard of green tiles with a host in each. A command is launched and a modal dialog box shows up, then the inventory screen is switched to. The table shows hosts, their status and available updates, some of them are categorized as "security updates", in red. A host is selected, which opens a pane on the right displaying the details as well as a detailed list of updates. An update is selected, and another panel opens up, from the left this time, displaying the patch details. Current version, new version, source, etc.

If I was just browsing, listening to music, doing emails and instant messaging I'd barely notice the difference. If you mostly do only that and are still hesitant, don't be! Sure, have someone help install it for you, but after that you're golden.
