Tried to PMA it - sewing/McGyvering my Santa outfit last night from last year, up at 6 this morning, sorted out kitchen, dishwasher, washing and made coffee and breakfast for everyone.... shower and shave, turn all the Christmas stuff on, coffee and news, moved the fucking elf (inexplicably still part of our fucking lives despite the kids being grown up) into the manger in our weird Mayan Nativity scene (Mayan jesus now riding a donkey backwards), then darned two jumpers. But realistically and with the best will in the world, I'm still way too poorly for #ParkRun, and I'll also miss this year's charity Santa run (all day pub-crawl), which I'm gutted about. But not only do all of my insides hurt from coughing and my lungs sound terrible, it occurred to me that potentially making a bunch of other people sick just before Christmas might be an intergalactically selfish thing to do. So I'm going to drink coffee and listen to classical music like a mother-effing G, then take 18 to work (for which I will be lauded as a hero). Bleurgh. Beaming you well on this frosty nearly Christmas morning.

A return to the Albert #parkrun today, since it was both a Santa run and @teahands's graduation run from #c25k!

Not only did we see unicycling reindeers, but @teahands nailed the 30 minutes and even ran the full 5k for the first time! Amazing!

#parkrun Tourist of a sort today whilst back in the Shire, at what certainty makes a case for itself as one of the most scenic Parkruns in the UK, #Blackrocks on the High Peak Trail.

A bright sunny but cold morning, just a hint of frost but muddy in places. I made a sandwich out of the parkrun with 4km down and 5km back up. If they reversed the course it would be appreciated. It felt longer than 5km possibly down to the run down or head cold. The run down the pelaw woods path was hard and I struggled to pick up any pace. Tomorrow hopefully out at the club for boats naming a scratch regatta and cake.
